MP test benches for prime movers (braking dynamometers) with MP Computer

Basic design

Braking and measuring unit
prepared for fixation of a cardan shaft protective housing and a cardan shaft,
and for alignment and fixation of a support carrying the prime mover,

Control unit (evaluation, display and control equipment with MP Computer) in basic design,
in a separate control desk with cables connected to the braking and measuring unit
or (only available for MP 140) swivveling mounted over the braking and measuring unit,

manuals for operation and maintenance and, as far as useful, circuit diagrams,

if necessary: grease and lubrication tools for the eddy current brake and / or for the cardan shaft.

Necessary Accessories

Cardan shaft protective housing and a cardan shaft,

Calibration lever resp. calibration set,

if a piston engine shall be tested, but cannot be started and stopped without turning the dynamometer:
damping coupling for protection of the cardan shaft and of the engine, to be screwed to the engine’s flywheel, with a flange for the cardan shaft.

Optional accessories

Additional cardan shaft halves for fixation to prime movers to be tested resp. to damping couplings mounted to piston engines,

for piston engines: mobile operation trucks or universal supporting frames to be moved by a pallet truck, further accessories for supporting and running engines,

for electric motors: supporting system adjustable to IEC dimensions, to be moved by a pallet truck.

Optional additional equipment of the MP Computer (extra charge)

Equipment for automatic determination of the specific fuel consumption of a combustion engine or of the efficiency of an electric motor,

Equipment for additional measurements on prime movers,
